kelle, your blog rocks my world. i love and soak up every single AmAzInG photo you post...oh how I wish you were my next door neighbor girl...i would like to be a bonus grandmama to your girls and hang out in my jammies with you and go to the sea together and watch you parent...but you brighten my days in ways you can't even imagine! p.s., do you use photoshop? i just got CS5 and am freaked out by how hard it is? i have a blog too and always did my editing with basic elements. i thought i HAD to have the big kahuna, but now have buyers remorse! if you hve it, how did you learn it? xo beth

Oh my gosh, the lil one is just adorable when she walks! Something you and Lainey can do as she gets a little older is research something together. I treasure the memory of my mom and I at the beach in her home country of Ireland and investigating all the shells, researching their names and learning so much together as we collected them!

You are an inspiration for many reasons- but today I find you even more amazing because... you traveled with two kids and the stomach flu. You had me at 'I woke in the middle of the night with the stomach flu.' The stomach flu is something I just can't handle. That you flew with the flu and lived to blog about it, well, there should definitely be a badge for that.

May the flu have flown and may you recover peacefully in the comfort of home.

Loved the picture of Nella smiling face w/her little hat on. She makes me smile everytime. Lainey's precious snow bunny and snow angels looked like fun. Your previous post describing the crunch of snow under your boots sent me into a full blown trip down memory lane. I didn't realize I missed that sound until you mentioned it. (OK, I miss the sound of the snow, the dead silence and random snow plows run past my house in IL. But I do not miss the cold and possibility of falling down on my behind that goes with it. Happy to be back in my home state of California.)

So glad you had a fabulous trip and that you shared it with us all.
