I've added something to the Bucket List this week: Learn how to play guitar. Because as one-with-the-Earth and family bonding and bug-slappingly wonderful as our camping trip was, it would have been just a bit more proverbial (in the unicorns jumping over rainbows kind of way, of course) if there was a guitar at the campfire to complete the moment.

And everyone knows, as corny as Kumbaya and John Denver campfire songs are, there is no one cooler around a campfire than the chick who pulls the guitar out and starts strummin'. And everyone's all, "Dude! You didn't! You brought your guitar...Whoa!" It's gonna be me someday. Of course, I'll have some Tom Petty in my repertoire as well to keep it cool. Because sometimes unicorns like to rock.

So, camping was a hit.
Our friends John and Charlotte joined us with Austyn and Brandyn's good friends, Ashford and Drake. Thankfully, we like them all a lot.

We've been camping here before, but it was Life Pre-Babies. There's something fabulously full circle about coming "home" to a beloved place after babies. Like renewing your vows. We loved it once already but now we're bigger and better, and setting up tents while watching your toddler play with twigs and balancing chubby baby legs around your hip while you're flipping pancakes on the Coleman grill has a way of making you love it all over again...and then some. I do, I do. I do take thee, Campground, to be our lawfully wedded place of good times, again and again.

I love camp air--this dusty combination of loose dirt and thick gray haze from campfire smoke, and it's rich with this earthy scent that strangely makes me want to wear plaid and chop wood and catch fish.

I like boiling water over the campfire and making coffee that tastes that much better for the effort. I like sipping cold beer out of a tin cup. I like pulling my babies this close to me under the sleeping bag to keep them warm and imagining that winds are howling outside and our tent and my arms is all that keeps us safe from the big bad storm.

Mostly though, I like being together and feeling for a moment like all that exists is us, some hot flames, and this peaceful place that pulls you a little closer to the earth and all it has to offer.

And as all good renewing-your-vows ceremonies go, let there be photos.

Have no idea what this picture's about. No one was sleeping but strangely, everyone has their eyes closed...even the dog. Funny.

So, yes...if I had a guitar, I suppose I'd pluck out some sort of high-on-life song about now.
But, I have a fabulous new sponsor instead and a giveaway to go along with it.
Introducing, artist Mark Poulin. Mark is a metalsmith and enamalist and happens to have an incredible talent for creating fun conversation-sparking jewelry.
My favorites: my Tic Tac Heart earrings...
...and the family necklaces (can be worn as a set with one clasp or seperately as Lainey and I are wearing our Quadrapus).
Right now, mention "Enjoying the Small Things" and buy any three items and get a little charm necklace free. (offer expires December 6th).
Plus, Mark is giving away a $75 gift certificate to a random commenter on this post. Winner will be announced Wednesday.
And, one more attempt for solicitation. When we were kids, our homeschool group was selling M&Ms once for something--don't remember what, but we used to stand outside grocery stores trying to sell boxes of M&Ms. It was boring and ridiculously cold in the winter, so someone got creative and made up this little jingle "Would you like to buy some M&M's?" which we would sing and accompany our song by tapping candy boxes together. It was silly and slightly embarrassing but in that really cool this-is-kind-of-liberatingly-fun kind of way. Dude, people came by the droves to buy our M&Ms. The point of this story?
If I had a guitar and knew how to play it, I'd sing you a little jingle about voting for Enjoying the Small Things in The Bump polls. But I don't. You can still vote until tomorrow night (and you can vote every day). Right HERE. Scroll down and click "Enjoying the Small Things."
Hey, it's Monday. It's a holiday week. Somewhere it's snowing (I hear Montana, eh?), and Brett just changed our garage radio that plays 24/7 to a Christmas music station. Good times, Man. Good times.

I'm so excited to see Mark Poulin here! I've been a fan for years. :)
Jenny V from MA
Amazing post. I tried to learn three years ago. But failed. hahahaha
Love the camping pics.....nothing better than coolerish (it is the Florida I know and love!) November and camping. I'm jealous! marissa
What adorable pics. I'm thinking of something new I want to learn too. I feel it's about time I took on a new hobby. I can already play a couple of instruments, so I don't think the guitar is the right hobby for me, but it sounds awesome. Good for you! Oh and we'd love to win the gift certificate as we know a family who is really struggling right now and our friends are trying to do what they can to brighten up their holiday. I think that this would be great for them. Thanks for the chance to win.
Looks like you had a blast!
I just wanted to let you know that the link to the voting isn't working. Don't want you to miss out on any votes because of a glitch!
Loved the camping pics. I so need a weekend like that!
I want to learn to play the guitar better too! Were you homeschooled? I was for several years! Beautiful photos as always. Amanda @ http://runninghood-amanda.blogspot.com/
Yet again...you made my Monday. I love the photos they are beautiful as always! :)
I have voted every day except Saturday (when I was taking an AEPA test ALL day for my teaching license). Sunday I was sad when I saw someone pulled ahead of you in that short time. But you will catch up!
And I could so see you playing the guitar! Your wonderful Kelle!
Fixed it! Thanks, Lauren.
You had me at the second photo - what is it about a campfire that mesmerizes you so quickly?!
Your girls keep getting more and more beautiful! You have made me want to go camping now!
As a kid I always thought camping looked like so much work for the adults. Now that I'm an adult and have my own little one I have to believe it is all worth it!
I can't wait to get her out there for some solid family memories! :)
I know it! I want to be that girl someday, too, but the sad thing is I have tried time and again and I never stick with the whole PRACTICING thing. Because I want to be like Eric Clapton straight out the gate.
It is, indeed, snowing in Montana and this Montanan wishes it would stop and that I could enjoy some Florida weather! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
It's snowing here as I type...love it! We're all cozied up and watching Signing time, avoiding a trip to the grocery store...
Looks like a fantastic camping trip - you brave girl! And I love how the quilt makes a cameo in each post - it's like spotting Waldo! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Libby
You've made my Monday so much more bearable with this post! Thank you!
I wish we had a radio station that played Christmas Songs already! Have a good week x
Wow, How did your little ones like camping? I can't wait for my first camping trip with our little man. Also, The kite pictures were precious. :)
Awesome pics, my family go camping at least 3 times a year, wish it was more. It's a great way to bond even more with my kids and husband, cuddled all around the campfire the girls and I sing Hannah Montana songs while Dad tells us how dorky we are but in the end he starts singing along and knows all the words to the songs. :)
I would love to buy 3 beautiful necklaces for my 3 beautiful nieces... and save the 4th for my little girl!
I am just jealous that you're still able to go camping. I live in MT and you're absolutely right...it is snowing here.
You make camping look like so much fun. I've only been camping once, as a kid. maybe I should give it another try :)
This blog is a great resource for parents of special needs children. However, it's also a great resource for parents like me, who have children without special needs. I look to you, Kelle, to inspire and motivate me. I look to you to help me suck the marrow out of life....and that's just what I do, hug my kiddos tighter, and look at my life through rose colored lenses more often. I read Nella's story for a gut wrenching cry that makes me feel renewed and ready to face my own challenges. So that is why you should win, "Best all around blog" award! Good luck!
,,,no guitar??? but nella had a tamborine!!! and i imagine she was making sweet music even if it weren't the likes of john denver,,,so adorable she is,,,
I LOVE camping!!! Hope you, your family and friends enjoyed yourselves!
Camping and children just go together, don't they? I have so many happy memories of camping as a child.
Food always tastes better outside, especially sausages. ;)
I'm now craving a camping trip. But snow is on the way here. I'll just have to look at your photos and imagine I'm there.
englishlavendercrafts.blogspot.com
We were a camping couple before kids and now a camping family...love it! And now my husband has learned to play the guitar and you are right...something about being around a campfire screams for a guitar! Love it all!
happy turkey week!! enjoy your thanksgiving and your beautiful family!!
I agree with the previous posters. You make camping with two little ones look so fun and easy. We have a lot of camping gear, but I am not near brave enough for it yet!
Love that you want to play guitar. In Colorado, camping with a guitar is a must. I have a friend who actually has a backpackable guitar for such occasions. Colorado camping is a wee bit different from Florida camping, but the spirit of family and friends and dust mixed the pancake batter is the same. I do play the guitar and this post is a gentle nudge from God to pick it up again, as I have been meaning to for a while. Thank you and happy happy happy thanksgiving!!
Great pictures as always! Camping was one of the Biggest and Best memories I have as a kid.
Also if you want some snow there should be a way to send some down to you ;-) I know Minnesota has lots to share right now.
Yes! I love this jewelry!! And snow?! Sure is here... Into -33C air...Eeeesh.
How fun! We have a little spot we love under tall Redwoods and nestled against a lazy little river. I love adding new memories of this place to the ones I have going there as a little girl myself. It's like taking a trip in a time machine- climbing the very same giant tree trunk, with Darrin *hearts* Stacey carved big and bold on it. Oh, and I'm with you on the guitar- totally ups the cool anty. Go for it!
Love that even the dog had it's eyes closed in that pic! Too cute!
it is snowing here.
Love camping! We took our son five times this summer, and are planning a long trip through the U.P. next summer. Can't wait!
Love the earrings! It is snowing hardcore today in Washington state, and you spent the weekend camping. Amazing how a few thousand miles changes things.
I love camping and I cannot wait to camp with my future kids. The last picture is beautiful, love it! Those necklases are very cool.
How fun!! Nothing better than camping w the kiddos! (i have 4 boys...) I enjoy your blog with all the CUTE girlie stuff. And you always look so beautiful!! How do you do it???
well, I bet you could play a guitar and eat sugar donuts and slide down a rainbow.. Your FAQ section was very very funny.... I love camping.. it is a lot of work... but fun... love your photos as always. Have a great filling and festive thanksgiving.
Love camping....makes me want to round up my crew and head out for the county. Thanks for sharing the wonderful photos.
A Quadrapus??? What on earth! SO CUTE!!!!
beautiful pictures! and I would love some of that unique jewelry!
Oh camping. I wish I can have a camping moment too! We have two acoustic guitar players in the family- me & my Dad. My Dad taught me how to play and he also bought me a guitar named after me.
By the way you are a great photographer, you should consider publishing a photography book- you pictures are beautiful.
I used to play guitar and piano and the Mr. used to play the trumpet. I gave my guitar to my little brother when his band was on tour with Ozzy Osbourne a few years back. And the guitar never came back:-( The piano sits in the living room- aching to be played. It is so out of tune. I think it's time to get it in order because there is nothing like growing up in a house where music- real live music- with real live instruments- is played.
currently my bucket list includes things that I want to learn to bake... I need to write them down tho... and add a few awesome things like playing guitar, making a quilt and swimming with sea turtles!
Have a wonderful week.
Ps. I hope I win! new jewelry always puts a smile on my face.
I remember camping trips with my bestfriends from highschool by remembering what songs were played on the guitar that year: so I for one believe in your playing the guitar dream.
- Vanessamae
Snowing in Maine... and holiday music and decorations are in place!! This will be our first holiday season as a family of four also, and we are so ecstatic.
we took the children camping all the time when they were young...now the next generation is going camping..love cooking outdoors..fires..my love plays the guitar ...thank you for sharing your journey..
Love the photos from your camping trip! And thanks for opportunity to win!
So my S-I-L admitted to me, last night, that she is an official Kelle Hampton groupie. She sat down last night and plowed through more than half of your blog posts and declared to me that she is really interested in becoming craftastic with me! Ha! I love it!! We are totally making pine cone turkeys!
I voted! And I really wish I knew how to play the guitar too. Love your camping photos! Camping is over here...it's snowing! Yay! Enjoy the holidays!
This is my first time commenting... I L.O.V.E reading your blog! I can't wait for your book and love your beautiful children and your outlook on life. The first thing I do after coming home from work (I am an oncology nurse and some days can be pretty rough) I read your blog. You are amazing! Looks like you guys had a blast camping.
xoxo
P.S. I posted this same message on your other post by mistake LOL but I did vote :)
Love your camping photos. We have an early winter this year and it's very cold and windy here in Canada. I would definitely trade the snow on the ground for a weekend camping trip with palm trees! So fun!
ahh... the bliss of camping.
and then the bliss of a hot shower at home.
Life is all about perspective.
to you, I thank you!
i'm sure you could rock that guitar too!
It's so weird to see ya all in shorts and CAMPING! Crazy. Our snow drifts are five feet deep right now. My friend couldn't get out of her house. And it's minus 30 degrees Celsius with wind chill. It does make it look and feel like christmas in the North Pole but it's ironic that I have some yearning for your weather.
...And galoshes! I miss gumboots already!
Camping always makes you stop and love everything around you! Makes me want to go this weekend!
I'd love to give a Mark Poulin piece away for Christmas!
That jewelry is all so adorable!
Your girls are adorable! Also, give us some tips on haw to raise amazing sleepers like Lainey and Nella! My boy does not travel well! He LOVES his room and hates anything else!
love the jewelry! love the photos!
loving the octopus necklaces! And I got a guitar for christmas last year, now for finding the time to learn to play it between student teaching assignments...
I love Nella's hat. It's adorable. You guys truly are an inspiring family.
Since I live in MN, seeing camping this time of year makes it seem like you live a world away from me! We are getting freezing rain today-yuck! Love the new sponsor, cute jewelry!
Someday I will go camping again...someday...:).
great camping pics! and tho i would love to play the guitar, i would settle for re-learning how to play the euphonium (which i played a million years ago in high school). need a toasted marshmallow now too, thanks ;-)
We too are a camping family. My favourite time of the year to camp is in the fall. Love the cold air and warm blankets.
I love the idea of renewing your vows with a favorite place. It looks like you had such a fabulous time camping! Good luck learning to play the guitar!r
I went camping with my 9-month-old while my husband was deployed. Never again; it was a nightmare. Kudos to you for doing it!
Your pictures are breathtaking. It's so sweet of you to share something so sacred and obviously very important to you with all of us. I love it!! :) <3
So glad your camping trip was a hit! Ours was a disaster BUT we laughed the entire time so I guess it was not a disaster totally! Imagine rain for the entire time, mud and forgetting important medicine that you have to drive home to get it and decide its not worth going back to the camp to sleep! LOL I love your pictures and how you tell a story through them! :)
love love LOVE that you took the fam camping!!! I love to do the same with ours....but since we live in Colorado, I sleep in the back of the Tahoe with the babies while my husband sleeps alone in the tent...cuz I'm afraid of the BEARS!!! :) I also love the new artist and his jewelry - super cute!
Love the pictures! Lainey's checkered dress is darling. : )
OH...My family camped a lot as a kids. Brings back memories. I guess I should get out there and do it with my daughter. Great pictures.
dude i'm not even a camper but your pictures made me want to buy a tent and teach my kids that it's okay to not bathe for three days and to eat only marshmallows for breakfast lunch and dinner. looks like fun!
there are a few pics here that may be my fav eva...
nella in the tent
lainey's little juice stained mouth close up w/necklace
and a few others
muah Kell!
oh, i loooove camping & can't wait to take our son with us!! lucky for us, my husband is a great musician & we love having him play around the campfire! you're welcome to join us on our next camping adventure!! ;-)
Not just snowing, but friggin' cold!!! Check out the thermometer reading on today's post...
We never got around to camping this summer even though we kept saying it was something we had to do. Your pictures make me miss it so much, I think I may have to go and book our camping spot now for next summer.
I've been voting daily! I love your blog.
I also love camping. Camp fires. The smell of camp fire on all your clothes after you get home. Mmm. We're going camping this weekend!
The camping pictures made me really want to go camping but then I looked outside here and saw the snow and I think I'll wait until spring
Not very musically inclined, (my sister got all that talent). :) Love the love your family shares every moment! Thanks for sharing it with us!
Paula
Hmmm - a post about camping AND Christmas music. Dig it. Voted for your blog, because as silly as these awards may be, what you're doing here on this site is inspiring and, really, we all could use a little more inspiration every day. Have a good turkey day!
Love the camping pics! looks like it was a blast :) adorable charm necklaces!
Love the pics. Question - where is Nella's tambourine from? I have looked and looked (little is a BIG tambourine fan) and cannot find one for those under 3. Would love the tip!
It is snowing here in Montana {I hear you have a good friend here in my same town. woot!} The snow is lovely but your camping trip looked like loads of fun. And those little bun piggies, oh SO cute!!
Someday I would like to learn how to play the guitar as well. I always said I would take classes in college. That didn't happen. I need to find a suitable lefty guitar first.
I love the pic of your girls sharing the stroller! With Nella holding the doll, they remind me of little nesting babies! SO cute!
beautiful girls :)
Your posting sent me back to my college days in the North Georgia mountains. Camping stirs the soul, quiets the mind and sometimes, takes the heart on a journey it didn't know it needed to take.
laughing......you have a garage radio that plays 24/7 too! I thought we were the only ones. ha ha ha ha
love your camping
love the double girls in the umbrella stroller
love it all
Yeah for Matt & Kim!!!! Kim and I were friends in college and baby Jane looooves to dance to their music. It's a dance-a-thon in our kitchen.
I was so exciting when I got a guitar for my 16th birthday. I thought it would be simple to teach myself how to play. 9 years later and I still haven't learned. I suppose I'm more of a piano girl anyway. Here's to wishing you MUCH success with all your future guitar adventures. :)
Wonderful pictures, as usual. Memories that you will cherish for a lifetime.
Sigh, I love camping. We missed it this year, but I vow to enjoy it next year! Thanks for taking us all with you!
Gorgeous photos as always, and I voted at least once. :) Love reading, my first stop on my feed reader. Happy holiday week!
I love the camping pics... We usually go every year but we skipped this year because we had a newborn. We are already booked and ready to go next summer... Camping memories are the best :)... Good luck with the vote...I have been voting every day...
You are so lucky you can still go camping! The weather here in California is crazy~ rain and tons of wind. If I were to go camping, I would freeze to death!
Great photos and seems you had a great time with your family and friends.
I LOVE Lainey's colorful checked dress. She looks gorgeous...as do Mark Poulin's designs! Thanks for showing me yet another amazing etsy site. Happy week!
I love camping with my love! I look forward to camping with children one day!
seems as though lately I come to make a blog and see you posted one that inspires me to do more.. thank you. rock on girlfriend.
I can't believe you all are camping and right now there is 8 inches of snow at our place. Totally jealous!!
Looks like a great trip! You have lots of amazing photos of flames from the campfire that are really cool. My favorites this post though are big brother and then you holding up Nella while lying in the grass. :-)
Okay, okay... You've convinced me that the husband and I have got to go camping. You make it look so fun! And, I have to admit, there is something about that campfire air, even without the guitar. (Love that last picture of Lainey with Nella, by the way. She is such a good big sister!)
Love the camping, love the new sponsor, and I love a good giveaway!
bundled up and hearing snow closures it makes me shiver thinking about camping and wearing less clothing! Plus.. hey, I'm commenting so I can win--why not? :)
-Heather
Snowing here in MN too...jealous of all the bare limbs in this post!
I'm dying to take my family camping, you make it look fun and effortless!
Love, Love, Love, it all. The post, pics and sponser
I went camping for the first time this year - there really is something about that camp air that totally sucks you right in. Hollah to a new sponser - loving Mark's designs, super great for upcoming holiday gifts!!
The tambourine Nella has is just screaming for a guitar accompaniment! Such sweet pics as always and encouragement for all of us to enjoy these special moments.
Going over to check out the jewelry, looking forward to it.
I love the pics, as usual. Oh so sweet how the boys interact with the little girls.
Awesomeness in November gotta love it!
Teri
beautiful as usual.! i wish i could convince my husband to go camping, but he could never rough it in a tent for a couple nights. =]
I live in Southern Ontario and it is cold and raining out. So miserable...so looking at your pictures of the bright sunny warm day makes me a tad jealous...and makes me smile.
I would love the gift cert to buy some kick arse things for the beautiful women in my life this Christmas.
Love that you can camp in November and still wear shorts and t-shirts - wonderful memories for all.
I have wanted to take my 3 little ones camping, but have not been brave enough to do so. I keep thinking that when they get a little older it would be better, but now I think I just may bite the bullet and GO! Looks like a lot of fun!
The "sleeping picture" = hooo-larious!!!
Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the camping pics! We used to go camping as a family a lot growing up. It was cheap and fun! Now as an adult with my own family we don't go nearly enough. In fact, I kindof forget about it. I need to remedy that this coming spring....many many months from now.
Happy Thanksgiving!!
Good times, indeed!!
looks like a fun trip! guitar would def be a great addition
So in love with your photography AND blog sponsors. Sweet!
Lainey is looking so big! I'm so impressed you are brave enough to take your not even 1 year old camping, Nella is a little trooper!
My Uncle tried to teach me how to play guitar but, it really hurt my fingers. So, I recently decided that I would instead learn how to play the ukulele. Maybe someday I'll learn how to play "free falling" on a ukulele and do so around the camp fire at my families cabin.
I love camping, so fun! You have some awesome sponsors, those necklaces are adorable.
Voted! Looks like such a fun time. All of the pictures are gorgeous as usual, but I can't get over how adorable Lainey looks in her plaid dress with her walking stick.
I love your blog and your photos are inspiring to me. I love to get up (almost in a stalker kinda way) to see if there is a new post, new pictures. i Feel i can learn so much from you.
I so wish that it was still camping season here in Colorado but we are one of the "lucky" states that has snow. How do I become unlucky. hehehe
I haven't been camping in SO long - I miss the smell of campfire!!! And s'mores. And roasted hotdogs!
Yes, it's snowing here in Montana (calling for up to 10 inches in the lower elevations) and frackin' cold (predicted wind chills of -40) and there you are camping in shorts. :) Love the pictures. My favs are big brothers with baby sister....awwwwww.
Love reading your blog. Off to vote. (again)
I always LOVE your photos! I also love to camp, and am jealous that you live in a warm climate! Your little ones are SO darn CUTE! I would be super pumped if I won the gift certificate!
camping looks like so much fun with you guys!!
: )
I voted. Early and often. I feel like a true Louisianian!
BTW, I love Mark's "Starchaser" print. Reminds me of my little man, who might just need it for his third birthday this weekend...off to Etsy!
those necklaces are super cute - quadrapus, love it! looks like a wonderful time was had this weekend.
You should TOTALLY learn to play the guitar!!!
The girls are growing soooo fast!!!
Sunnie in NC
Cute jewelry! And I've never been camping - one day i will go!
I so love your blog!! you just totally made me sick for summer all over again :( missing our camping & boating weekends. but Keep it UP!! living vicariously is good for the soul.. or atleast reading your blog is!!! :)
Gorgeous photos and I love, love, love that little plaid dress!
Love your photos and your outlook on life. beautiful jewelry!
I think I love you and your beautiful family and your photography. Does that sound too "stalkerish"? :) Cute post!
Love the photos & yalls matching necklaces...so sweet!
Love the camping pictures. I loved camping as a child and pre-babies. I don't know why I have felt intimidated camping with my children - probably because I felt it lost some spontaneity. Now, we would have to pack everything. You have me inspired. I will tackle camping with kids.
Great post as usual. we tried camping with our little one this summer as well. Granted we opted for a camper instead of our tent, but it was a weird feeling, coming full circle. I think when he is a little older we will try the tent. Being in NH it is randomly snowing and freezing so we are limited in our camping months, but refreshing (and jealous) that you are still in tank tops.
Happy Trails!
Karen
My stepson plays guitar and brings it wherever he goes. We often sing those cheesey songs by the campfire in my back yard. Good times! You should totally learn!
Camping looks like a blast. So relaxing!
Love the pictures of Lainey flying the kite with her big brother. Sweet.
xo
Kris
You betcha...love Christmas music playing 24/7 on the radio!! And, love this blog!
I love the one picture of Lainey with the stick! And the one of you holding Nella laying in the grass :) So sweet! Looks like a very nice weekend.
And I love those necklaces!!
Looks like you guys had a blast camping.
and I love that necklace and the earrings :)
I have wanted to learn the guitar for years and still have yet to do it! Bucket list!
Your Laniey was dressed so cute camping!! Love the plaid dress and little keds...Adorable!
Great fun to see your camping pics - I am with you getting into the holiday spirit. We are preparing for our ballet studio's performance of Nutcracker and feeling very holidayish! Mark's jewelry is so wonderful - so unique and makes you smile. Would love to share some with my girlies.
I just love your randomness!
Truly there is nothing better than John Denver songs around a campfire. Wishing you the best.
Soooo much cuteness in this post!!! I just love your kiddos! They are adorable! I bet my girl Nelia would absolutely love your girls!
Anyways, what a fun adventure! We love camping, but haven't even attempted it with Nelia. I have no idea how we would ever keep her contained in a sleeping bag, lol:)
My hubby plays the guitar and used to bring it when we went camping. So much fun!
www.patrickandsarahlynch.blogspot.com
I love love this post. I wish I could play guitar too. Happy Holidays to your family
Loving the word "quadrapus"! It makes me smile! My husband and I went camping with his family for his sister's birthday and my daughter, now one, then 9 months old LOVED camping. I just wish camping season lasted longer in Indiana. Love the pictures!
I love the camping pictures. It reminds me of my childhood.
The camping photos are great, glad you had a good time.
Love the jewelry - and the pics - is there anything NOT to love about your Blog?!?!
I play guitar, mostly self-taught. My advice: Don't give up! Your fingers will hurt and you'll become discouraged when nothing sounds like it's supposed to. Push through. It's worth it :)
As always, great photos! Your blog always puts a big smile on my face :) What a beautiful family you have.
OOhhhh, we just had our family campout last weekend. Next year, the Hampton family is cordially invited.<3
I love those tic tac heart earrings!
Fun new jewelry! BTW you can vote for your blog more than once a day (I have been!!). :)
I LOVE camping! Nature is where I connect best with God, and I love filling my summers with time in the great outdoors. It's nice to hear others in the world are enjoying that even if I'm not right now.
(I'm Definitely NOT a snow camper!)
ahhh camping - i haven't been in years but your post brought up so many happy memories of my own.
beautiful pictures and what a great family weekend!
Voted! And ordered my Tina Steinberg necklace for christmas (via the hubby). Would love to add some Mark Poulin earings to the christmas list!!
I am love with your camping photos and that fantastic jewelry. :)
So many fun memories you brought back to me about past camping trips...last one being around 3 years ago. I've got some planning to do!
Camping was a family favorite growing up in our household... So many great memories!
Voted for you. Love camping and seeing your experience through pictures. I also concur about coffee that tastes better due to the effort involved!!
I LOVE your blog! It looks like you all had a blast camping and your children are so precious! Happy Thanksgiving :-)
Snowing in AB Canada! how i would love to be camping in HOT weather! Also is there a website where you buy your girls Tytes? they are sooo cute. O and the givaway would be great too.... :) :)
As always, your posts are so fun to read and the pictures...oh, what cute pictures!
I simply love your blog. Your girls are so beautiful and I adore seeing all your wonderful pictures! Little Nella is so beyond precious.
Those look like something to get my SIL for Christmas. She loves jewelry with animals on it.
I love this new sponsor! How much cuter could it be!!
Always adding things to my own bucket list. It keeps me moving forward....Thanks for another great post, Kelle.
Wow looks like so much fun, I remember camping when I was younger, I need to take a camping trip with my kids.
It looks like your camping trip was so much fun! We had to skip out this year since our little sweet pea was born the first week of July.
Looks like a fun-filled, family weekend. Perfect bonding time for the Thanksgiving week too!
i already voted for you today. you're neck and neck with my IRL friend's blog :)
it looks like you had a great time camping! love the photo of Nella inside the tent!
Loving the camping pics although I am very jealous as we woke up to slick, icy covered roads here in Canada!
I love the Quadrapus necklace!
oooh, I love that jewerly! and your blog is oh-so-inspiring. i look forward to all you posts!!
You guys look way too beautiful to be camping! Love it.
I can't wait to take my baby boy camping for the first time!
You are so brave to take the littles camping! It seems like it would be so hard. Good for you! :)
Kelle,
I owe you a huge, long, involved, overly-detailed and "explainey" type of comment. I have been following you blog from the very beginning and can never quite get my words out correctly for my initial comment...today I just went for a small "hi" to you, but believe me...I'm building up for something grand and very connecting and sentimental...hopefully I will at least be able to expand from my meager "hi" to a "hello". I will connect again...I will!!!!
Love that octopus! We will have a white Thanksgiving here (MN) - just concerned about all the loved ones driving thru it... hoping to get down your way sometime this winter!
A favorite artist sponsoring a favorite artist! What impeccable taste I've obviously got!
I fear the camping envy you've inspired will stop at just that. Envy. Because my own photos would surely show one squib stabbing the other with a hot marshmallow stick, or covered in goo and biting ants, or the search party I had to call in to relocate the children altogether. Thank you for the vicarious camping trip. It was much sweeter, I'm sure.
The camping pictures look sooo relaxing! Also very excited about Mark Poulin's work, so fun!
love the new stuff. And the camping pics are awesome
I knitted a scarf! I scratched it off my bucket list!! Love it. Camping with the fam, there is nothing better! Wow! Mark Poulin, very cool!!
Camping with kids, is the BEST! The memories, the eating a ton of cooties before you die...my kids still grimmace when I say, so get started!! Waiting for snow here, only nobody knows how to drive in it...we'll hunker down and hope our Thanksgiving food is ready for the day.
of all those beautiful and colorful photos...guess which one was my fave?
the hot dog shot.
what does that say about me i wonder?!!!
beautiful. i get it all. at one with nature...family...bugs...
glad you are home again!

You should totally rock out the guitar. I might have to add that one to my list too!!! All your pictures are great and looked like a great time. Makes me sad that we didn't get out camping this summer in the Rockies. Next year!!
And ps....Love the Florida shirt - Go Gators!!
