Alas, some sweet love for three sweet things is abounding and it shall be shared.
Sweet Love #1:
Remember the product review I said was coming? Something red and something fabulous? Well, hello Something Red & Fabulous:
I have wanted a pair of red cowboy boots since Ariel had a pair in Footloose, and they are totally worth the wait. They came in the mail yesterday morning and I was so excited, I bit the plastic string that held the box shut with my teeth, pulled out all the stuffing paper, lifted these red beauties from the four cardboard walls and inhaled the smell of supple leather. They slide on my feet so comfortably, they were made for me. And, in searching my closet for something cute that would look good with red cowboy boots, I came to the conclusion: there is nothing that doesn't look good with red cowboy boots.
They're from CSN Stores (talk about having everything under the sun...check it out), and if you love them, there's free shipping.
And if you know me and you see me out with these, please don't make fun of me for wearing them every day.

I love my sweet red boots.
Sweet Love #2:
Among all the things we dream of for our kids that may or may not come true, I get stuck in one dreamland more than others. Ballet. I was obsessed with it as a kid. Never did it but looked from afar at others who did and I wanted a pair of pointe shoes like my life depended on it. I even bought a pair at a garage sale that were way too small and took them home and walked all crippled-like around my bedroom pretending I was in Swan Lake. And I was way too old to admit it, thank you. Like maybe I was in college. And maybe I still have those shoes. And maybe I still cram them on from time to time and prance about my living room. Anyhoo, with that little confession out of the way, I have to say I am so excited for Lainey's new adventure.
We went out last night to buy her first ballet slippers and we'll be trying a trial class this week to make sure she's ready for the fall class.
I think she's ready.
We'll see. And, if it's a go, you bet your sweet ass there will be pictures.
And finally Sweet Love #3:
I know I post bedtime and morning rituals a lot, but they are each unique and different and beautiful in their own way. And last night was no exception. We aren't really the scheduled bedtime kind of parents. And we don't necessarily do the same thing every night. Sometimes we read, sometimes we jump on the bed to get the sillies out, sometimes we tell real stories, sometimes we do back massages and sprinkle dream dust and on rare occasions, we let the girls curl up in our arms while we chat with company in the living room and they fall softly to sleep to the sound of our voices.
Last night, we did it all. We jumped the sillies out. We read. We told stories. We laughed and interwined legs and got all sleepy and dreamy with a long, drawn-out bedtime process that ended up just beautiful.
I love the way he looks at her and kisses her feet.

I love feet that stick out of jammies.

And I love, love, love the way these sisters bond in the big bed.
Although a bit dark and grainy (no flash, 16-35mm, Av at 2.8, ISO 1600), these two pics are some of my latest favorites. I LOVE the expressions on all three of them:

and, behold...she reads. Ha ha.
Some really lovely giveaways in store.
And, if you leave a comment...tell me three sweet loves you are enjoying.

Watching my 1 year olds body go into full on fish mode when I walk into a room, and I LOVE the love of my 3 boys as they play, share and make each other laugh. Life could not get any better!!
i love my husband whom i celebrated 25 yrs. with just yesterday. I love my five kids. i love my sweet almond eyed emma grace. and number 4 i love your red boots
The way my dog loves me unconditionally and cuddles with me when I can't sleep.
The smile on my husband's face when he looks over at me just because.
A refreshing iced coffee to make up for not being able to get good sleep last night.
*the last warm days of summer
*sweetly sleeping babies
*squeals and giggles in delight after accomplishing her first, unassisted somersault.
{1}One of my favorite has to be naked baby bums on a hot...hot day, running to jump in the little cheapo pool out back, {2}root beer floats every night with sticky toddler fingers, toes and bellies in the aftermath, {3}sweaty kids coming in with arms full of tomatoes and cucumbers from the garden.
I love SUMMER! And I love your red boots! I wore red boots all the time in high school and my (perhaps not-so-very-nice) friends called me "commie boots" because of it. Also, I love that this week is the Ingham Co. Fair and next week is the Kent Co. Fair!!!
Wish you guys could come up for the fairs! :)
I'm loving the ups and downs of the navigation of this thing called "life". I'm newly married and this new chapter in my life is keeping me on my toes. Just when I thought I had it all figured out...
I'm loving learning how to be a wife. And I'm loving daily dreams of mommyhood.
Thank your for your blog - I've been a quiet follower for a long time and I adore reading about your loves.
Love those boots!!
Today I'm loving the sweetness of my almost two year old helping me clean with a red bandanna around her head :) And my three year old randomly clinging to my neck saying "I love you soooo much mommy!" and I'm really loving my yoga pants. I found the perfect pair a while back. Just saying... it doesn't get much better than that!
1. God
2. Life
3. Family
Such simple loves, but important ones. How could we live without each of them?
Oh sweet loves... all so very beautiful Kelle!! And to capture them on film is even more lovely!
My 3 sweet loves today... 1) my 8 month old finally found his first "word" and cannot get enough of "da-da". the moment he wakes to the moment he sleeps, and even at 3am when he rustles in bed, he is saying da-da in this awkward man voice! 2) this delicious new fat free poppyseed dressing I found and am enjoying on my lunch salad at work. 3) the memory of last night-- we took that boy out of his crib at about 10:30, careful not to wake him and took 30 quiet minutes to snuggle the 3 of us in our bed. we whispered in his ears why mommy and daddy love each other. it. was. magical.
Basil from my yard to my table.
Late night coffee runs with my one and only.
The fact that Fall is getting closer and closer. Like 49 days closer.
P.S. You should wear those boots every day. :)
Im loving having my 3 month old with me at the office today, he makes work not so "work: like.
I love that even though money is crazy tight, things are great!
& I love that I have red boots too!:)

3. Finding inspiration, focus, and joy during my newly established lunch break journal sessions.
I love your red boots, but I love my red boots more. (They do go with everything!)
I loved when my granddaughter cried at "Ramona" when the sisters buried the kitty. She couldn't understand why they didn't just wait a day or so for the angels to come take him to heaven.
I love to check the computer daily just hoping you have a new post...
thank you
Okay, I'm needing a pair of those cowboy boots STAT! We are Texas Tech fans, those would be killer in Raider Country!
*White Wine Outside on Hot Hot Days with Good Friends
*My older son loving on his younger brother with DS and knowing he'll be loving on him forever!
*Remembering my husband on my wedding day during this anniversary month!
1. Cherries as big as apples that explode sweetness in my mouth.
2. My two kids making puppets right now and preparing a secret show for us to watch tonight.
3. Planning summer vacations soon to come - like in 2 weeks...a week at the beach with friends and friends' kids for the 4th year in a row.
4. If you don't mind...YOUR BLOG!! :)
Cheers!
My sweet granddaughter, Nora, who is 6 weeks old.
My family.
The crazy days of summer.
#1 being back on your blog. i didn't touch a computer for three weeks, and i love being back and looking at the sweet faces of lainey and nella! :)
#2 cousins. family. listening to aunts tell stories of their engagements and looking around the room at the faces of my cousins and thinking of the romances to be written...

Loving pictures of my baby boy from the beach all covered in sand.
Loving the ice cold plum so sweet and juicy and dripping all down my hand.
Loving the reprieve of nap time to sit down for some lunch and read your blog and become inspired by all your pictures.
This is my first time commenting even though I've been reading for awhile. I love your blog. I am thrilled when your new posts come up on my blog sidebar. Your pictures are amazing and you are an amazing mommy to your two amazing daughters!
My current sweet loves: 1.} My daughter just lost her first tooth last night. The unabashed joy and the squeal of delight she let out this morning when she found that the tooth fairy had left her a surprise, is something I will never forget. 2.} My catalog of music on my Ipod and the Genius feature - it's almost scary how it predicts just the right song at just the right moment. And 3.} My health, house, employment and family - all wrapped into one big huge LOVE. I don't ever want to take any of those things for granted but fear that some days, I do.
My sweet loves?
1 - The way my little one pulls my face close to hers for a slobbery kiss
2 - The way my pup watches patiently as my little one has her lunch, and then dutifully cleans off her hands.
3 - The way my little one has developed the cutest monkey face and grunts until my sides are sore from laughter!
This post was so sweet. It really is the little things that make us happy.
I love hugs from my husband, comments on my blog, finding good things at the Dollar Tree.
1 - I love that I`m getting married in 4 weeks...preps are so fun too!
2 - I love my little munchkin dog, Leo.
3 - I love the ''severe thunderstorm watch'' displayed on my weathernetwork icon :)
{1} my husband's new job took us to one of the slowest places in the US, but he comes home EVERY night -- this is important, since he's just returned from his 3rd deployment
{2} giggles coming my four kids playing MarioKart on a day too hot to venture outside
{3} Bacon, cucumber, lettuce and cumin sandwiches... my newest obsession. YUM!
love your photos! when i read your blog and see photos of your sweet family, some of them take my breath away and I am so glad for you that you caught certain shots! they are awesome!
my 3 loves right now...hmm
1. a cold beer after the kids go to bed
2. floating in the pool with my girls and my favorite guy
3. trash tv. bring on those Kardashians!
Right now, I am loving feeling my second little boy move inside of me. It's even more special because this will be my last pregnancy, and it's bittersweet. I also love when my 2.5 y/o tells me he wants to "nuggie" w/ me on the couch. Mommy loves to "nuggie" and it's rare that he sits still long enough. I still love watching him sleep. I love his little lips and nose and how peaceful he looks. (I also LOVE your blog!!!)
LOVE her sweet, sweet ballet shoes:) I'm so close to letting my 3 year old take a class this fall!
I just posted a blog with the things I'm loving today, so I'm just going to share the link!
http://domesticsimplicity.com/2010/08/04/august-4/
I love taking care of my son when he's sick
I love kissing kissing my daughter's curly toes
I love when Daddy-B rolls over and hugs me in his sleep
Lovely post, kelly. I was never a cowboy boot person but those look FANTASTIC and make me want a pair. I love how they just go with the fab outfit you're wearing.
And your family is so precious. It's just beautiful to see you sharing something so wonderful like that. <3
The three things I'm enjoying right now?
#1: My new necklace purchased at fashion bug. It's a 10-in-one necklace (it has a bunch of them all together), so every time i wear it it jingles and makes me feel like a princess. I dress it up, I dress it down. One time I wore it with PJ pants and a random shirt to go pick up our take-out order. I felt totally glam.
#2: My best friend. We've been friends for so long and we've always been super tight. But this summer just bonded us together even more. There's just something about our personalities that CLICK and I love her so dearly for being there and understanding me and helping me always LAUGH and SMILE no matter what.
#3: My mother. We've had our ups and our way way downs, but she's been here for it all, and she's trying so hard to get me through this confusing college stuff. To say she is a sweet love of mine is a understatement. She just has been my hero. And we just spent a whole week hanging out together just her & me and it was grand.
My other secret sweet love is summer. This summer has been boring, exciting, adventurous, everything in between. It's had it's lazy days, it's frustrating days and it's pack-up-and-go-somewhere-random days. I've loved every minute.
Hey Kelly,
I absolutely adore blueberries. Walking in to Winco or Haggens and seeing a huge box for $4 makes me giddy. I always contemplate buying one box or two. I am obsessed with Netflix right now, as well as trying to stretch the summer in to 10 more weeks :) Not quite ready for back to school yet.
I love all the hugs and kisses by little boys generously give me now, I know they will not always be so generous with them so I cherish them!
I love my husband and I don't think I will ever get tired of seeing him spend time with my boys!
I love watching my boys in peaceful sleep! I would love to see what they are dreaming of!
http://ourhappyhomeblog.blogspot.com
My three loves:
hearing my little guy start to "gagagaga" and "dadadada" as his little drooly kisses come at me
having a run to train for, even though I am slower than molasses in winter
seeing how much my babies look alike when they are sleeping
1) loving the British summer holidays and having my big boy around keeping his baby brother highly entertained 2) loving that my two boys seem to be falling in love with each other 3) loving that my beautiful husband did me proud at the weekend and had a chance to bond with his boys whilst I had special time with some great girlfriends. And Ibam loving seeing the bond between your girls grow. I know that's 4 but I didn't give the last one a number!!
Love your post today, as always.... your girls, and your words, are precious indeed. My husband and I now check out your blog together, oooing and awwing at the pictures of your sweet girls. We can't believe how much your little Nella looks so much like our little son, Samuel. Sam is older (10 months), a boy, and does not have DS, but I can't believe how much they look alike in certain pics (and, did I mention, he's the most beautiful child you've ever seen...so many similarities).
Right now I'm lovin' so many things. Life is good. It's hard to pick just three. Let's see:
~ the way my 2 boys are playing together more and more and are loving being together (10 months & almost 3)
~ my new camera lens (50mm 1:1.8)
~fresh local berries dipped in melted chocolate and a cup of tea with my husband on the couch once the boys are finally pj'ed and sound asleep
Cheers from Canada ...looking forward to catching your next post :o)
p.s. the boots rock!
1. love getting things in the mail, especially handwritten letters that are not expected!
2. love your playlist...i often log into your blog and just let the music play.
3. love that my 21-month-old's new favorite word is "nu-neck" (music). more nuneck, please mama!
These days I am loving being home with my children. Just quit my job about 6 weeks ago. Loving listening to my 4 year old talk as if he is batman and robin when he is playing. Loving laying in my bed with my 4 year old as he strokes my hair to fall asleep. Loving (I know it's #4!) my 1 year old following me around saying mama mama mama.
Happy Day Kelle!
Tricia
I love this post, I may have to steal your idea!!!
My three sweet loves i am enjoying...
1. my new flowy pink dress that I find an excuse to wear atleast twice weekly. My huband has already called me out on this multiple times but agrees that it is fabulous so it's okay.
2. More photo business than I know what to do with. One job leads to another, and another, and then another... It is AMAZING!!
3. Photographing my sister's belly in anticipation of our little Eden Reese's arrival. I may be almost as stoked as Mama is for here grand entrance.
i love books.
i love music.
i love my baby.
i love this blog! that's four!!!
happy week, everybody.
Sweet love #1: The way my 2 yr old girl clings to me, telling me "hold-a me". We've hit a stage of snuggling every night together in the covers of the "mama bed" before she goes to sleep. I drink it up.
Sweet love #2: My mother. Even though she is no longer with us in this world, she is with me every day. Every time I garden, cook, sing, stitch, craft, love or laugh, I feel her. I am forever grateful for being so blessed. And she set the bar very high, but I'm up for the challenge. :)
Sweet love #3: My obsession with girly hair decorations - flowers, scarves, pins, headbands. I'm not a prissy girl, but oh, it makes me feel like I've raided the dress up box when I put fancy items in my mess of curls.
I could have a list of top 100 faves, but that's what's on my mind at this very moment.
Congrats on the red kicks. Awesome. Enjoy breaking them in.
Peace,
Jennifer from Annapolis
Wonderful post Kelle, I love your zest for life! Three loves I'm enjoying at the moment? 1.) Back to school craziness for my oldest two - one starts HIGH SCHOOL and one graduates this year! 2.) Potty-training craziness with my youngest daughter who turned 2 in Feb (yes, you read that right - two in HS and one potty-training!) 3.) my new adventure in blogging and photography. What can I say? You've inspired me!
I love the sweet smell of my toddler after a bath.
I love the way my 9 year old talks almost nonstop 24/7.
I love that I live in Florida, where it's summer pretty much year-round.
1-long, hot, lazy summer days on Cape Cod with a good book, a soft breeze on the beach, crashing waves, and a soundly sleeping baby on a beach blanket
2-the way my little almond-eyed boy smiles and wriggles with delight when we bring him into our big bed in the morning for a bottle and some mommy-daddy snuggle time
3-sheets and towels freshly washed and hung on the line to dry under the warm, salty sun.
three sweet loves I enjoy every day... my three sweet daughters!! each one is unique & has her own sense of self/personality -- yet when I look at them I know they are all a product of my husband & myself and it makes me smile (the real big smile that makes me look like a cheese-ball)...
and a bonus sweet little love that isn't alive & breathing... a good cup of coffee in the morning -- I swear there are nights I'm dreaming of it!!
1* Back to school supplies and the way they smell and never ever having to back to school myself!
2* My niece and nephews getting to experience football and cheerleading for the first time ever and their bubbly joy and excitement to call me and tell me all about it.
3* Seeing a friend become a single dad and embrassing it with all his being, beaming with pride over his daughter and his willingness to give up his bachelor ways for her!
Kelle,
I'll keep it simple. My three sweet loves: 1. The ever-growing confidence I seem to have each time the husband goes away on business and leaves me alone with our two kids (ages 2 and 6 months). I act all concerned about it, but really - I love the challenge and the alone time with them. 2. The fact that Ryan (my 2 y/o) lets me suck out boogies just because I act grossed out. Lindsey (6 mo.) is reminding me how much it sucks (pun intended) to do this chore on an infant, which makes Ryan's willingness to accept it, just because it's "gross," all the more amusing. 3. My me time. At the end of the day, after the little ones are asleep, lunches for the next day are packed and bottles are made, before I even think about crashing on the couch, I exercise. It's spiritual, I tell you. I can think of a million things I'd rather be doing, but I know that I feel better afterwards, I'm setting a good example for the kids, and ultimately, I'm giving myself the energy I need to keep up with them the next day. There you have it.
P.S. I.love.your.red.boots.
Love, love, love your blog Kelle!
3 Loves:
1. The excitement, happiness, and challenges being a new mama to a sweet baby girl.
2. Dancing to the music...(My pointe shoes are in a box in the attic, unfortunately!)
3. The way my eyes well up with sweet tears of joy when I read your blog and think of my sweet baby.
Hi, Kelle!
Three sweet things I am loving right now are:
1. Text messages from my fiance during the day that say, "I can't wait to marry you."
2. My morning cup of coffee as I watch "The Today Show" with sun pouring through my blinds.
3. Hearing of other girl's engagements in the office and getting to share in those squeal-y, "Oh my gosh, how did he do it!? Let me see the ring!" moments.
That last picture of Nella has me giggling, too freakin' cute. And the cowboy boots? LOVE LOVE LOVE.
Let's see. My three loves? It would be way too easy to list my three little girls and call it a day, sooo...
1. The way my almost-five month old tilts her head alllll the way back to stare up at me when she's sitting in my lap, too sleepy to play but not sleepy enough to conk out just yet.
2. My almost-seven year old's utter joy every time she discovers a new treasure from the tooth fairy. Yesterday morning's delight? Owl hair clips!
3. My five year old's kindergarten anticipation. I'm going to miss having her home, but it makes my heart explode for her every time she squeals over her brand new glittery pink and purple Hello Kitty backpack or begs to see her Ariel lunchbox for the fiftieth time in one day.
loving my evening runs as the huge orange sun's a settin'
loving waking up and letting our 130 pound great dane "snuggle" in bed with us
loving the talks we're having about bringing our own littles into the world :)
Feeling my baby girl (karate) kick me almost all day long, and thinking about who she'll look like when she's born in November. (Best Thanksgiving gift ever!)
My one year-old toy poodle who has to be laying up against me no matter what prenatal yoga pose I'm doing.
When my husband kisses me and says, "Love you, Gorgeous," like it's my given-name, on his way out the door to med school every morning.
*LOVE the red boots! Rock 'em!*
#1 I'm loving letting my kids stay up late and sleep in this summer.
#2 I'm loving our lake, a friend's pool, a sprinkler-anything to cool off the kiddos on these hot days!
#3 I'm loving that my youngest is still a cuddle bug even though she just turned one and is on the move!
Love what you're loving this summer, too! Great pics and GREAT BOOTS!
Hm... your stories are always hard to follow! Your life is so colorful and full of magic... I mean, c'mon, red cowboy boots?! I used to have pink ones when I was little, and I told my hubby I want another pair (not pink... but something cool nonetheless).
Love #1 - Dark Chocolate. I've been eating better, losing some baby weight (lost 15lbs already!), especially trying to ditch the sugar... but I allow myself dark chocolate.
Love #2 - Baby Teeth (just one of the many cute baby parts). My little guy is getting his bottom 2 front teeth, and it's just SO DARN CUTE the way they poke up through the gums, and when he grins it's almost an honest-to-goodness-real-person smile with those almost-teeth!
Love #3 - A Good Pair of Jeans. 'Nuff said.
Our relationship with God
the blessing of being pregnant with # 2
My sweet almost 2 year old daughter... and the way she sings and counts in spanish...
1. My daughter, who just started saying "night night Mama" when I put her in her crib at night.
2. Sunny days at the park.
3. Reading your blog, and being inspired by it every day.
We recently found out that our daughter has a brain tumor, which will create challenges for her (and us!) for the rest of her life. Your positive outlook is so inspiring to me every day, even more so on the days when I feel especially overwhelmed by it all. THANK YOU!
1. DIY pedicures that look like the salon deal, but much cheaper!
2. Lazy Sunday morning coffee while thumbing through the Washington Post
3. Fresh new haircut with clean, split-end-free ends
*The imagination of my 3 year old
*Reading new books to my boys
*Finding random music on the radio and dancing with my little guys like there is no tomorrow :)
I have been on vacation and have to say... I have missed your words and the pics of your sweet, sweet girls :)
My absolute favorite loves right now...
#1: seeing my 14 month old daughter with her 2 cousins while we were on vacation... how they held her, loved her, and taught her all the things they already know. :)
#2: my daughter's little whispers. She has just started this little whispery, jabbery, breathy little talk that I am absolutely in love with.
#3: Our family bed. Having been away from it for over a week, I realized just how much I really do love it!
Thanks again for your posts and all that you share... I love it. I also love, love, love baby feet so, thanks for so frequently including pics of them! :)
Cindy
Current sweet loves?
The way my Lexi will run at me and give me a hug. Who knew hugs from an 11 month old would be so sweet?
Going out with my little girl and seeing her flirt with just about anyone that will give her a bit of attention. The smiles she gives them are too precious.
Pulling the baby into our bed and sleeping with her snuggled up against me for another couple of hours in the mornings. That right there is something I never thought about when I pondered motherhood. And it is one of the best parts about it.
*my baby learning to crawl*
*my baby using his new and only word Uh Oh*
*All 4 of my crew giggling and playing together*
1. The prospect of a move and starting life "over" in a new place (although I might be more terrified than "in love" BUT trying to look on the bright side ;) )
2. Summer-last summer was a flop as my then, just turned 3 year old suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and we couldn't go outside most of the summer due to loud noises. This summer we are living it UP!!!! No money to do much but that just makes us get way more creative and I love it.
3. The thought of going to Disney (in FL) next year (We live in WA but I'm from FL-lived there my whole life minus the last 2.5 years). We haven't been home to see my family since we moved here (sniff, sniff) so I am thrilled to see everyone and do everything. Been saving, saving, saving.
I love my amazing little girl Emma who never ceases to amaze me and is the best thing I ever did, I love weekends in the summer spending time together with friends and family, I love that currently my friends and family are healthy and with me to enjoy the small things in life.
Three sweet things I am enjoying right now are;
1) goat cheese and dried cranberries on crackers in my cubicle.
2) getting ready for my best friend's baby shower this weekend! I'm hostessing. Can't wait.
3) Snow cones. This California girl cannot get used to this hot Phoenix sun. Snow cones are my only salvation.
my three loves?
my family
summer vacations
music and white wine
okay it's four but it is my HEAVEN!!!!
Love your red boots! and Lainey's ballet shoes!
my sweet loves...
1. My 2 year old daughters silly
monkey face
2. The way she snuggles into me and
says "i love you whole world
mommy"
3. My husband. Works sooo hard to
give us this wonderful life.
My three loves, you ask?
1. my baby girl, Selah, waking me up for late night feedings. What an honor it is to be the one she wants to soothe her.
2. Watching Curious George every afternoon with my boys.
3. A leisurely, uninterrupted conversation with my hubby while sipping coffee. Those moments rarely happen with 3 kiddos running around!
And especially this blog that has changed my perspective on so many things over the past months. Kelle, thank you so much for working on my heart. Your words have made such a difference and I truly feel blessed to have found this place while my kids are so young. Now I won't waste a second. I won't wake up someday when my kids are grown and look back with regret. Because of you I will suck the goodness out of every single day. From the bottom of my heart thank you for that.
I love the boots. I had to give away my red ones after a foot injury and it left a hole in my psyche. Three things I'm loving right now: vanilla nut decaf coffee; the tingly expectation of being swarmed by my kids when I get home, watching my daughter race to throw her arms around my neck and my son crawl or toddle as fast as his chubby legs will carry him to snuggle his head into the middle of my chest; my luxury Manolos I have on today that I bought years ago at 60% off, bringing the price from WTF to ludicrous, but still make me feel swanky and special.
1. My adorably goofy husband because we celebrate four years tomorrow after a particularly tough year.
2. My freckle-faced pup and the way he stretches out on his chair when he's sleeping.
3. Brand new school supplies {Hello, Dollar Tree!} for my classroom.
1. my big girl Emma.
2. snuggle bug time in the evening.
3. my growing belly housing the newest edition to our family
1) I love hearing my 5 year old niece laugh and be silly.
2) I love hearing the words "I love you" no matter who says them.
3) I love listening to my kitties purr when we snuggle.
1. All things about my handsome little man who is turning 6 months this week 2. A daily devotional book that I have been reading each morning 3. COFFEE! Always, coffee...
LifeOnCottageHill.Blogspot.com
well, i'm stuck at work, so i'll bust out the three things that make it not-so-bad to be here.
1. my secret "illegal" space heater under my desk that turns my office into cozytown
2. nivea kiss of flavor cherry lip balm
3. my jumbo box of whoppers that i've been munching on this week
Great post as usual Kelle!
Let's see, my three loves at the moment are:
1) Hearing my beautiful 2 year old daughter Annie say "Hi Momma" when I come home from work each night. It melts my heart.
2) My amazing husband who is so awesome with our daughter and a fabulous chef to boot!
3) The fact that the flavor of the month at my local coffee shop is "Coconut Cookie." Sooooo good!
My 3 loves of today-
1. Time at the pool with my best friend and all our kids
2. New recipes for cooking
3. Shopping on Etsy
:-) Have a blessed Day!
Kelle! I loved the photos. I secretly hope there will be a picture of your feet crammed into the too-small ballet shoes next to Lainey's. So cute! I melted over the pictures of your Nella Bean! She is growing SO FAST!
Since you asked, here are my three sweet loves:
1) Mike Fox. Always. Because he is so good at loving my heart. And he makes me laugh. And he talks about our future-babies on a daily basis.
2) Crosby, the newest addition to our family. He may have four legs but he's our first kid! I like blowing bubbles for him to chase and "eat". It makes me laugh so hard.
3) Eating grilled corn almost every day. Because I can. :)
Love your blog! Thanks for sharing!
I am having emotional week. I am enjoying the last week before my youngest girl turns 1. I am enjoying my last 10 days before my big girl goes to kindergarten. Lastly I am enjoying the shopping and anticipation and planning that both of these changes are bringing our way. Next week we will bury deep into our cozy nest of a home trying to suck one last week out of our summer together.
My three loves today:
being invited to the lake for the weekend by my bestie
getting a nice card in the mail.
Puppy kisses.
Kelle!
My 3 sweet things:
1. I'm sharing your number one! My red cowboy boots!!
Last summer, I bought some fantastic red cowboy boots to wear to my very southern alma mater's football games (for which I'm a faithful season ticket holder!) Those boots were made for tailgatin and cheering on the home team!(I just last night pulled them out, dusted them off and started counting down the days til our September kick off :))
2. Diet green citrus tea
3. Wedding Planning and counting down the days til 3.26.2011!
Love it!! Love the boots too!!
I am loving bath time with my boys, the look on their faces with new discoveries and the peacefulness a long awaited thunderstorm brings.
Great post, love reading it!!
*Love the sound of my child's laughter more than anything in the world
*Love waking up to my new baby girl's smiles and the way she snuggles up in my armpit to sleep where it's nice and warm :)
*Love planning a pony and petting zoo party for this Saturday for my little guy's 2nd birthday. Hoping it all turns out fab!
I love my husband;
I love my fantastically cute dog;
and I love the fact that we're moving to Scotland to start a new adventure four weeks from today.
I really enjoy perusing your blog. :)
1. Inception - I've only seen it twice in the three weeks since it's been out because I love it so much that I don't want to get sick of it. I'm already anticipating the IMAX showing next week.
2. Air Conditioning - After house-sitting for a friend without any air conditioning in her 150-year-old house, I am so grateful for my old window unit.
3. Lake Michigan - The water has been so warm lately that you can just walk right in. The days have been mostly sunny, and hot, and beautiful. There's nothing more relaxing that a simple day at the beach.
4. SHARK WEEK - Need I say more?
I love the picture where your husband is at the foot of Nella and she is twisting to look at you. A priceless photo! And your red boots...I never in a million years would think of buying red boots on my own, but now...
My three sweet loves...
1. My husband, always
2. My five year old, who is a constant companion, makes me laugh and breaks my heart every day
3. and something that will always be a love: my "baby's" toes! Wierd? I have always, since the day he was born, been in love with his toes. Still am. I know when he's sixteen I won't be lovin on them like I do now, but I'll always have the pictures to remember when they were so darn cute!
I am currently enjoying...
My unborn girl's little kicks and hiccups... and the way I can see her move through my stomach!
Stretchmarks. They'll be like scars of pride. A reminder I carried her with me all these months!
The smell of laundry detergent. Cos I'm pregnant and it smells good!
I love how my five year old told me a few years ago that I make the bestest food ever that tastes sooooo good. I love how my poor seven and a half month old can look at me and coo and grin, even though he's gotten five teeth since Friday. (Yes, that's now five days ago - they actually all came through within just over four days.) I love how I watch the bigger one hug the smaller one and tell him how much he loves him, that he's the bestest little brother ever and he hopes that he can be the bestest big brother in the whole wide world.
And yes, I love your boots. ;)
1. I love that my first baby just returned from a 6 week trip.
2. Ramen noodles
3. Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros!
SOO good if you have not heard them look up their song home and I dare anyone to not love it.
I could say that I love love love your blog. It always make me smile, and reflect about all the positive things in my life.
But three of my sweet loves must be..
...the way my four-year old makes his one year old little brother giggle in the backseat of our car, on our way home from kindergarden.
I really really love the way my kids ecstatic respond to things I almost don't even notice or not at all think about. It can be from ringing the doorbell, turning off a light or having pancakes with jam for dinner. Enjoying the simple things.
And I love long beautiful walks in the streets with my girlfriends at night. The way we hush eachothers laughter in case we wake up some sleeping toddlers :-)
From Ida (in Norway)
The boots rock... I think I would probably sleep in them. Lainey looks so very ready for ballet... I started when I was 3 & took it until the ripe old age of 17. Toe shoes packed away in storage... don't think they would even fit me any more. I would bet money that she will love it.
My three sweet loves of late...
~ hearing the sound of my little Q's voice as he learns the power of using his words
~ spending yesterday with my very best friend of 37 years who I do not get to see nearly enough. (We met when I was 3 & she was 5!)
~ starting the packing process for our visit to the east coast next week... will see grandma & grandpa & brothers, sister & oodles of cousins. Can't wait!
Happy Wednesday!
Kate

Sweet love #2: The baby girl in my belly, the one who jabs and kicks me everyday just about all day and reminds me that she is there and growing big. i can't wait to meet our little angel and learn about her in everyway.
Sweet love #3: my husband who helped me create these lovely sweet loves 1 and 2... and who takes care of me and is an awesome father and husband and friend.
LOVE THIS POST! :o)
1. Family time at the lake with my boyfriend
2. Friends who love you know matter what you say, do or write.
3. The God who graces me with the friends and family despite all my failings
1. My daughter being 8.. oh how I wish I could bottle her up at this age... still innocent, but starting to really become her own person.
2. My goofy 5 year old son... he make me laugh on a daily basis with his original "Chipmunks of the World" song(Seriously the funniest song ever)
3. Lazy summer days of having them home with me everyday all day with no schedule. Soon life will back to getting up early and driving the kids to school 5 days a week... Sometimes I wish they could stay home with me and just be kids all the time.
I doesn't matter if the pictures look non-perfect, you are right, their expressions are perfect and speak love in volumes!

3. the carrot cake covered hands of my one year old on her first birthday last week

2.playing Clue til midnight with all 10 our our kids and my daughter-in-love.
3. Lily saying mamama for the first time:)
Three things I am loving:
1) we finally gave in and paid to have professional photos done - and I am so completely in love with every single one of them I cant imagine narrowing it down to order some.
2) eating the veggies out of our garden every night for dinner. Nothing better.
3) watching our baby girl play in the pool like a big girl (shes almost one...gahhhh). Play, splash, laugh... I love it all.
Dachshund kisses, the sound of building houses around me, listening to my 9 year old talk through "how to make chocolate milk" to his imaginary friend, Chuey.
Let's see, my three sweet loves:
1. My amazing and supportive husband whom I'm celebrating 2 years of marriage with on Friday the 6th.
2. My baby bean I just found out last week that is in my belly.
3. The joyous last days of summer!!!
I love the adventures that I'm having with my 2.5 year old this summer. From going to the park, to strolling out for ice cream after supper. It's been wonderful to explore the world with my little big boy.
I love the new baby activity that happens multiple times a day inside my pregnant belly. That even though we're only 4 months along, this little monkey kicks multiple times a day, letting his or her presence be known.
I love the planning and organizing as we fill up the calendar for the last few weeks of summer. I've got great friends and family to be thankful for, and spending time with them makes me happy.
Have you ever seen the episode(s) of How I Met Your Mother where Ted thinks his red cowboy boots are awesome and everyone else thinks they look ridiculous?? This post made me think of that, and I laughed.
Pulling. Them. Off.
1. The feeling when you experience a real "God moment"... and you're know where near a church.
2. The way my sweet nephew wakes me up every morning that we keep him by banging as hard as he can on my bedroom door and yelling "At Tayteeeee" (Closest his little 2 year old words get to "Aunt Katie")
3. Drives at night with my windows in the cool of a summer evening.
1. Watching my son walk around the living room like he has been doing it forever when he really just started yesterday.
2. Spending warm summer days at the park with friends.
3. Long walks after dinner with jammied babes and ice cream.

2. C's chatter. Am going to start writing down her little Cisms as they make me smile so much.
3. My husband: love, love, love that man.
p.s. It has always been my belief that every woman should own a pair of red shoes but you have just taken that to a whole new level. Rockin' red cowboy boots, girlfriend! (Ooh, that last sentence sounded quite American - did I pull it off?!)
My three sweet loves at the moment....hmmmm, having my stepson with us all week while he works with his father. Learning all about my new camera and taking amazing pictures of my little guy. And finally, walking into my sons room when he is fast asleep, sitting on his bed and whispering to him how much I love him.
I love the pictures of Brett with the girls. He seems like such a good daddy! Best of luck to Lainey with ballet!
xo

1 - My Luca bear (22 mos) has started calling me mommy instead of mamma...I melt every time he says it.
2 - Planning my husband's 30th Birthday getaway. We haven't settled on our exact plans yet, so I am dreaming up all the potential places we'll go and things we'll do. I'm really excited to celebrate this milestone with him someplace fun.
3 - Reading your blog over my morning cup 'o joe. It's like a delightful pumpkin spice scone..the perfect compliment to my morning coffee 'ahhh' moments :)
The three loves of my life are as follows:
1. the new paint colors I have chosen to re-decorate my house in. Said paint colors are: Magic Spell by Behr(for the master), Shaker Beige by Benjamin Moore(main living area and hallways), and for my sweet little Audrey of 16 months, Stem Green also by Benjamin Moore. I have picked some fab Amy Butler fabrics for the window treatments too!
2. Summer turning to Fall. It's sad to see summer fade, but the anticipation of Fall weather, college football and taigates with buddies is the best. thing. ever!
3. My sweet little family of 3. I have a hard working man for a husband, and a little pistol of a daughter. She too will also try ballett one day, even though her mommy never did. :)

And finally, my little two year olds hair is just in the perfect zone right now. Somehow he looks like a little blonde George McFly with his retro haircut.
Thanks for another great post.
3 sweet loves -
1. a naked potty training baby boy playing basketball while sucking on a binkie,
2.my 6 year old telling me I'm the best mom in the neighborhood
3. loud thunderstorms.
Lovely! Really lovely!
My three loves... This week? They change weekly, you know!
1. My baby (who is 5 so is far too old to be called a baby - but he is my baby anyway) is at VBS and having a great time. As bittersweet as it is for him to be gone from me All. Day. Long!!! it is fun to have a few quiet moments around the house!

Okay, totally had a deep belly laughing episode at thinking about you cramming too-small ballet slippers on and crippling around in your bedroom. And then laughed even harder when I read you were in college at the time. The funny thing is, when I get obsessed over something, I'd do the exact same! LOVE IT!!!

Jennifer M.
My 3 sweet loves...well at the moment, my first is the sourdough bread with melted asiago cheese that the fedex rep just left here at work. Bless you man...from a girl with a raging case of PMS induced munchies...mmmm...bread and cheese. My second...my two boys Miles (13) and Sammy (5)...poor little Sam went for his 5 year check yesterday...the one with lots of shots. I am still smiling at the image of Miles scooping up his little brother to comfort him after it was all over...brushing his big crocodile tears away. And the third...my husband Evan...love of my life. Even though we seem to have very few moments just for us lately, I know that we have an immense amount of passion in our marriage and that my heart will beat a little faster when I see him in a few hours at home.
Fabulous boots Kelle!
Jenny from MA
I'm loving the way my not-quite-3YO dances around to the Pointer Sisters when she sees Hugh Grant in Love Actually (that's the only scene she's around for, promise!). I love the anticipation I've been feeling at the end of every day this week, knowing that when I get home, I'll have two monkeys waiting to play "Membory" with their Mama. And I love Uni-Ball Vision Exact pens. Hello, my name is Kristin and I'm addicted to office supplies. (And, as bonus, as always- love your words!)
Love love love your pictures. Definatly think that you should put a photography book together some day =]
My 3 loves right now are as follows

- cheesies - the crispy kind. Yum!
- freezies: red, blue, white, really any colour but purple.
And is it sad that two out of my three loves are food. Maybe but who cares!
Watching grimy little hands playing with the sand.
A cold coffee on a sweltering day.
Dreaming about adventures with the little.
#1-Dreaming of Jamica with my hunk of burning love of a husband, white sand, the waves rolling in and just time with him and him alone.

2) LOVE lazy evenings where we sit around playing games together as a family and dinner is a modge podge of all things left in the fridge
3) LOVE that cheap ribbed tanks and cozy cut off sweat shorts can be an outfit if you add funky earrings and cute flip flops, all in order to beat the FL heat/humidity
#1) Baby laughs - deep from the belly. Nothing makes me smile more.
#2) Music that instantly takes to you to a time and place in your past
#3) Reading your blog to ground me in my every day chaos. Nothing makes me remember to drink it all in more than the words and pictures you post.

2. the way my body feels growing another baby to up the numbers to my precious family.
3. the 'i miss you, i love you' messages my hubby sends from many countries and continents away from us while on work trips.
Evening light and the post-dinner time moments we use to burn that last bit of the day's energy;
My little man's right leg. He broke it almost 7 weeks ago and we removed the stinky, awful smelliness of his cast last week. The pale, skinny, hairy, yet once again functional leg underneath brought a tear to my eye. I am LOVING watching him rediscover the world with the help of his "haywee weg";
ice cream. Its summer and we live in New England, which I've come to learn has more than your average amount of ice cream stands/shops/parlors/windows. I plan on testing out each one I come across this summer.
Bonus - Love your blog. So inspiring, fun and helpful. Really great reminder to appreciate and make the most of each day.
I am lovin' reliving those first ballet shoes with my 3 girls way back when....
I am lovin' looking at pictures of my 6 - yes, 6 - sweet and amazing grandyoungin's.
I am lovin' being 48 years old and the happiest I have been in my live.
Kelle - you are such a blessing and I love your blog. May God bless you all RICHLY - beyond measure.
Oh how you read my mind and speak to my soul! This post was right along what I was feeling!
# 1: my white and black patent Mary Jane heels. A touch of old world with a splash if today
#2: my little citzens breath as she falls deeper into slumber in my arms. There's something about that soft inhale exhale that I don't ever want to forget
#3: the way her face and husbands face both light up at exactly the same time when they see eachother for the first time that day as he walks in the door. Makes me think running and squealing and daddy daughter twirls are in our future just so they can be in eachothers arms faster!
#1--Ingrid Michaelson. Especially "You And I"
#2--Back to School shopping (all the fresh crayons & new clothes)
#3--Making new foods like Chapati & Shrimp Curry or Lentil Tacos.
Oh, and I love the boots...you can pull anything off! I would say I wish I was you, but I try not to say that. Still...love the boots!

my 3 loves----reminiscing with old friends, planning a wanted move with the love of my life, and cool drinks on a hot summers day...
I too am jealous of your lovely red boots Kelle!
I love:
Seeing sidewalk chalk drwings all over the neighborhood as a notice to all that a little has had some good, creative fun!
I love that my 2.5 year old son has decided he now wants to shower with mama every night instead of a bath. What fun!
That even though everyone tells me how big Graham is getting and that he no longer looks like a baby...he still loks like a baby to me.
1. 7 am walks with my husband & our 7 month old baby boy. We get to talk and the baby chills out looking at all the trees and birdies.
2. Hot, fresh muffins from the farm eaten on our front porch after our walk.
3. How everyday my baby does something new, especially when he smiles and laughs for me & his older brother.
#1 Soaking in the Rocky Mountains! Just when I think I've gotten used to them (have been living here for 2 mos with my husband for the summer season and will be leaving in Oct.) another view takes my breath away!
#2 Picking out baby names with my husband, even though I'm not pregnant and we're not trying yet. He is more excited than me, and I have to say I LOVE that!
#3 Baking or cooking anything homemade I can, even though there are more disasters than successes.
Sweet boots! :)
1) Wearing a new outfit and looking pretty dang cute ;)
2) Took the kids for a play date and got to chit-chat with an old friend.
3) Smelling my awesome dinner cook in the crock-pot.... yum!
I love the pictures - you have such a beautiful family.
Their names are Keaton, Gage and Morgan.
My blood coarses with theirs. They are my grandchildren. Their mother is my only child. Imagine what a lucky girl I am!
Every day, they teach me something. We talk on the phone, email or see each other. I learn as much from them as they do from me. It is a beautiful mix of love and more love.
To infinity and beyond is our motto, I love you guys...nana
My selfish sweet loves :)A cold Diet Coke, a book in my hand, my booty on the beach~
My giving thanks to the universe sweet loves: Kids with cars, kids who still want to be at home watching movies with mom and the best "job" on the planet-tho doing something I love so much cannot possibly be called a job-kids, books, teachers..sigh!
my daughter just had her first ballet recital this Spring and my heart melted as she danced on the "big stage".
my sweet loves..
#1 family movie night in, where we make microwave popcorn and snuggle in to the nooks and crannys of our couches.
#2 listening to my 6 year old talk with a lisp because she lost not only her first tooth, but a second followed almost simultaneously.
#3 while you are lifting snazzy new red boots out of cardboard walls, I am filling my treasures in to them anticipating a journey to a new place where I will then lift my treasures from four cardboard walls and "try on" our new home for size.. and no, there is nothing that won't look good with red boots!
Well, while I am sure showering with Candice might trump any of my three, I will just celebrate my simple life, defined by joy. So, first, conversations with my granddaughters...from Savannah's teen enlightenments to Lainey's "Me love bubblegum, Poppa!" Second, sitting on my balcony on a comfortable summer's eve with a good neighbor and a good glass of Chardonnay. And third, sunsets on Naples Beach...prime time beauty worthy of soft applause. As you see, Graham's showers with Candice make mine seem pale.
1. I love that my little girl says "I go see Cinderella's castle in 2 weeks!" when we already went 2 weeks ago.
2. I love the Folk Art Center in Asheville, NC and I am stoked I get to go there this Friday! (if you ever go to Asheville you must stop there)
3. I love LOVE!
Love the red boots, you are ROCKING THEM OUT! Makes me miss my pricey pair of PURPLE cowboy boots that I asked my mom to store for me and found out later that she sold them for a few bucks in a garage sale. Darn.
Love your confession too, hilarious. I can just see you doing that! Lainey looks so beautiful in her ballet outfit! Can't wait for pictures of that. I didn't like ballet cuz my mom didn't want to buy the sheer pink tights; instead, she made me wear NAVY WOOL tights. Imagine a sea of pink tutus, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, pink ribbons, and bam, navy wool tights. Oh, the horror.
Three sweet loves?
1. Watching my sleeping 4- year old boy drape his arm protectively around his sleeping 1-year old brother in our bed, as hubby and I look on.
2. Watching said kids splash around in a kiddie pool while hubby and I look on and drink beer.
3. Trader Joe's $2.99 a six-pack Simpler Times beer.
I am LOVING the song you added "No one's gonna love you", laying in the sun with a book and getting wet kisses from my baby neice Brooklynn...
Love the photos! I am buying a SLR because of you and I can't wait to get started!
Have a great day.

LOVE that our family just got back from our 1st camping trip as a family of 5 and I didn't take a 2nd glance at the fact that my 3 year olds were sitting in their jammies at 10:30am on a dirt pile digging for treasures! It was freeing to be okay with that as we were afterall camping but more importantly...creating memories! (Plus, I had packed plenty of extras!) ;o)
LOVE that after 9 years, my husband and I still look at each other like we did 'in the beginning'. It's because of him that I believe in soulmates.
LOVE what this summer has offered and presented to me and to my family!
PS. I've always wanted a pair of cowboy boots to wear with a skirt. Love that you chose RED! It's my favorite color! Enjoy the extra sass those boots will bring!
#1 love: the fresh, new gap where two baby teeth just fell out of my 5 year olds mouth and watching his proud face as he runs his tongue through the hole constantly.
#2 love: the random babble and first, wobbly, exploratory steps of my 18 month old
#3 love: quiet mornings of contemplation with a good cup of coffee
I was going to say your blog was one of my loves today....but I love it everyday.
Today I am loving:
1) White shirt with sweet puffed sleeves
2)Toasted English muffins with butter
3)My 16 month old daughter giving me high fives
I am loving my sweet baby boy who turns 1 month old tomorrow! Just soaking him all up and resisting the urge to dip him in BBQ sauce and eat him ;)
My sweet two-year-old girl who has turned into the kissing monster and dishes out kisses to me, daddy and brother all day long.
And because this weather has been so gosh darn hot...my guilty pleasure...fountain coke.
Wow, 12 minutes since you posted and 160 comments! :)
1. My baby girl Vivian who is turning ONE tomorrow. I can't stop thinking about my sweet love and how one year ago today I was preparing to set off to the hospital and have my life changed forever.
2. Her big sis Lily, who turned three 2 weeks ago. I can't stop thinking about how this sweet love has been a big sis for a year already and she never skipped a beat. Like, she was born to be big sister.
3. Summer. This is a sweet love that will be leaving Chicago soon enough and I am trying to soak in as much as I can before it goes buh bye next month.
And if I could add a fourth sweet love of course it'd be this here lovely blog of yours.
xo
omg poppa hilarious =)
1. The jaunty upward angle of my 7-month old's big toes.
2. The sweetness and promise of your Lainey's ballet slippered feet.
3. The pic my hubby sent to me at work today, along with his confession, "I've wanted to take a picture of him sitting in a laundry basket, since before he was born."
Right now I am loving:
1. Getting ready for the kids to go back to school, getting thier shoes and supplies, and uniforms all ready. This is a big year-my baby is starting school-and he is so excited.
2.Ending a wonderful family vacation visiting my family in Texas-swimming, and naps, a little wine-what great memories
3. Playing games with my kids, and listening to them laugh so deeply! Soon my days will be quiet.
I have been on a mission for red cowboy boots since last fall! I will have my feet in red boots before October this year, maybe we will even have twin red boots! :)
My 3 sweet loves right now:
The smell of sugar cookie candle that is burning in my kitchen.
The bright pink nail polish I just painted my nails with.
The bottle of wine i plan on sharing with my best girlfriend/neighbor tonight while eating desserts and watching our babies play.
Love life and love your blog!
Thanks for sharing you life!
my three? Food, sex and sleep. Hey, just keeping it real and honest and simple, and those are in no particular order..
I love stereomood.com - currently listening to ASLEEP FROM DAY (FEAT. HOPE SANDOVAL) by The Chemical Brothers. I love watching my 11-month-old daughter chase our Springer Spaniel with squeals of delight at her floppy, fuzzy ears. I love photography that makes everyday life seem spectacular (like yours). Because it is.
Yay for RED BOOTS!! Hmm..hard to narrow it down to just THREE loves, but I will try. My two daughters; my 2 yr-old grandson who loves to run around naked of course; and my new 6 wk-old granddaughter and the funny "faces" she already makes. These people all keep me sane and hold me together.
I love making the boys breakfast. You would think they had never eaten before in their lives! They are always starving.
I love that we have a few weeks of summer left and I am going to make sure we treasure every moment.
I love that I just finished a boring all day training on Oppositional Defiant Disorder and I don't have to take it again for 365 days! : )
I also love your red boots, your babies and your baby daddy : )
1. My family
2. Dove Dark Chocolate with Almonds
3. Your Blog
Your red boots remind me of my Rain Boots. I smile when I see them, and grin big when I wear them.
What a great exercise...because now I have thought of many more than three things I'm loving right now. What a mood booster!
My three loves right now are:
1. Mumford and Sons...if you have never checked them out, please do. Their music is so inspiring, honest, beautiful, and uplifting. I could listen to them all day, every day, and not be tired of them. Ever. Sigh No More is the name of the album.
2. The smell of babies. So many of my beautiful friends have had babies in the last couple of months and I love snuggling with them. That fresh baby smell is intoxicating to me.
3. My new picture frames. We have been living in our house for 8 months now and I finally bought picture frames to house the pictures of the people I love most in this world. They are still not on the walls...but just seeing those precious faces staring up at me when I walk by them brightens my day immensely.
omg how does one not laugh out loud to your ballet story... i think weve all done that.like being too ol for the fake princess shoes when younger, because by the time our parents got around to actually buying them for us our feet were to huge to fit it...
i honestly laughed out loud, and for quite a while....
thanks for that
tiffany

I love 4:00pm when my husband walks out of work and gives me this huge grin when he meets my eyes.
I love the sound our cat when she climbs up into our bed looking for attention.
I love the excitement I feel whenever I know a new adventure is about to begin, and a new adventure is about to begin!
I also love those tiny toes of Lainey's in her new ballet shoes!
Sweet Love #1: My 3 year old asking me to "Nuggle" him.
Sweet Love #2: My 1 year old's new squinty eyed smile - cutest thing ever.
Sweet Love #3: This blog. Thanks so much Kelle! You inspire me to be a better mama everyday!
1. Coming home early to surprised little ones who don't want to stop hugging
2. Pajama days
3. Planning my little lady's 2nd birthday party
Annie was right...definitely a mood booster!
Love Lainey in her ballet outfit! Can't wait to have my own little one in a tutu!
1)I'm loving having all the time that I want these last few days with my baby boy before I have to go back to teaching.
2)I'm loving that on these days our dog is finally starting to warm up (almost 9 months later) and is loving on the baby too by sleeping outside of his nursery door.
3) I'm also loving that my hubby will be home tomorrow from a guys' trip away, not only do we get to see him, but so far the house is still standing! :o)
those girls are sooo cute!!
my sweet loves:
1. Going into Molly's room in the morning (who will be 1 on the 17th) and seeing how happy she is.
2. Listening to the imagination that pours out of Paige's mouth while she's playing (she'll be 3 in September)
3. Life itself...sometimes I just can't narrow it down any more than that...
I love when my 10month old godson "talks" while he crawls to find me "hiding" behind a corner
I love when my cat jumps in bed with me..and I wake up to a sleeping cat right next to me with his head on the pillow
I love my hot pink nail polished toes
Lainey is such a cute ballerina.
I love the bittersweet knowledge that this will soon be my son's last school year. I am fiercely proud and yet a tiny bit sad that my only baby grew up so fast.
I love that my special guy succeeded beyond everyone's wildest imagination and that he charmed a million hearts along the way.
I love that my son is the one who taught me life's truly important lessons.
Oh so many to choose from....
Today I Love....
Summer - the warm sun and cool ocean water
Vacation - camping with littles for the first time
Atlantic Seafood on the beach!!
Cant wait for a wonderful weekend to begin!!
1. My sweet daughter's hugs when she wakes up.
2. The pure bliss when daddy gets home from work... from both of them
3. rainy summer days filled with reading, snuggling, cuddling and just living.
love this.
1. I'm loving that summer nights keep getting better and better, and that slip and slides and water ballon fight with my six year old princess never end!
2. I'm loving how much my daughter is learning about God, and how everyday she amazes me with yet another small talk at night about him.
3. and i'm loving the look in her eyes that i see when her daddy has finally came home after six years and his expression is pricless.
I'm loving so many things! Even reading your blog!
Three loves:
Getting to work a little early just to indulge in some blog reading before anyone else even knows I am in the hospital office for the day!
Recognizing the importance of seeing family outings from the child perpective and soaking in the moment. Having 100 plans and throwing them all out the window because the sandbox is a thrill at 4 years old!
Homemade quilts that are the perfect "weight". Ahhhhhh.....
Sweet love #1 - my new puppy. She's just a baby and chirrups like a tiny guinea pig when she snuggles on my lap.
Sweet love #2 - baking endless batches of cakes for my best friend's hen party. While everyone is at work I can put on my favourite songs as loud as I want, dress in my comfiest clothes and sing tunelessly into the end of my wooden spoon. And reading your blog...I can't wait until I have kids to sing along tunelessly with me.
Sweet love #3 - my graduation pictures that arrived today and made my mum cry. A sweet warm feeling that after many long years I have done both my parents proud (and I'm sure my brother will do the same when he embarks on his university adventure in a few weeks time...another sweet love...)
Okay, it must be said that Nella is pretty much the cutest baby ever. I just love looking at her pics. Those soulful eyes! What a blessed mama you are. My three loves right now: 1)Similar to you: My 2 1/2 year old in tap/ballet shoes. I did a mommy/me class with her this summer, and OH, it was better than I could have ever imagined. My heart nearly exploded from happiness to see her doing plies and shuffle steps (sp?). 2)Starting an informal e-mail book club with my cousin. Feels good to reconnect with an old friend/relative in this way. 3)Shopping for art with my husband at the same beach gallery we go to every year in NC.
*Trying to find a heartbeat in my tummy, even though I haven't gotten my ultrasound gel yet. Biosilk tummy is nice and smooth and smells lovely.
*The fact that now that my husband has heard the heartbeat, he is more interested in my pregnancy!
*Hanging out with my animals. They don't quite know what will be in store for them soon, so I'm letting them enjoy as much "Mommy time" as possible.
Three Sweet Loves... my three sweet girls, the fact that two are with grandma and the third is sleeping in her room, and my husband is cleaning the floor. :)
Firstly, a big g'day from Australia! I've been a follower of your blog for a few months now and always look forward to reading your latest update (I feel like a kid at Christmas lol)
So without further ado, my sweet loves are:
1* Waking in the morning to find that my 4yr old has snuck in during the night to lay next to me, a warm snuggly little body that smells oh-so-good!
2* Taking absolute delight in raising my son as a sole parent and doing a darn fine job at it.. marvelling in everything he's achieved despite the autism and the challenges it presents us.
3* Having been blessed with the chance to live within a 10-minute walk from my family who we love so much, and who support and encourage me when I feel lost. Love those guys!
Great blog post Kelle, thanks again for sharing (and how jealous I am of your red cowboy boots!)
Oh my gawd... I need boots like that! I so understand why you would wear them every day ;)
3 Loves I am enjoying:
* Summer days spent in the pool
* A nice nap after a swim
* A big tent in the living room
I too loved Ariel's red boot. I am so jealous.
My current three sweet loves:
"Thanks, my friend." What my son says to me lately when I give or do something for him.
The feel of my husband's hand when he takes hold of mine. Lately, when he holds my hand, I feel like everywhere is beautiful. Yesterday, we were married for eight years...in December we celebrate 25 years together.
Always and forever, my red lipstick. It doesn't matter the brand -- as long as it is red enough for me to think I should tone it down a bit. ;)
***Love that last picture, Kelli!***
my 6 month old sweet babe as she learns to army crawl across the living room floor
although stressful and totally overwhelming planning my wedding that is about to happen in 17 days and knowing how this will be a memory we share together forever
a nice super hot bath to myself to help unwind - very much needed
